Roger Black MBE – Olympic athlete and motivational speaker

In 2016, Argos for Business worked with Roger Black MBE to explore the importance of motivation in the workplace.

Roger represented Great Britain at the highest level of world athletics for 14 years as an individual 400-metre runner and as a member of the 4×400 metres relay team. Since retirement from athletics, Roger has transferred his talents to television presenting and he is an accomplished motivational speaker.

Motivation and team spirit is most commonly found in sporting arenas, and individuals and organisations can gain knowledge of what drives sporting success, translating it into real-life, day-to-day activities. Working with Argos for Business, Roger combined his close understanding of motivation and self-development with his personal experiences to offer valuable insights.
